Today we learned about what is data communication, Moving Data such as Bandwidth and Modems, what is Data Transmission, data transmission which is Parallel transmission and Serial transmission. Next, our lecturer also explains detail about Transmission Media. In the end of the class, she ask all of us to find out the image of STP and UTP, and also search the advantages and disadvantages between Twisted Pair, Coaxial Cable and Fiber-optic cable

Today our lecturer explains about the web to us, next, she explains detail about the URL to all of us, we realize that URL define as Uniform Resource Locator which is mean unique web page address, she also mention that we must understand the protocol, domain name and path in the URL. Because she said it might become the one of question in our final exam.

Today, my lecturer explains the online Annoyances to us which are spam, pop-ups, cookies, spyware, malware, and phishing and hoaxes. Next, she indicates the origin of the internet, internet connection which is client and server, boardband connection, satellite connections, choosing an ISP, and internet service providers. In the end of the class, she teaches the future of the internet. Finally, she reminds us to look through for the anything has been taught by her to prepare the quiz which is at Wednesday.

- can means a MyEG eServices, it is part of the MSC Flagship application of Malaysia’s Multimedia Supercorridor (MSC) initiative, which is intended to allow a tighter and closer interaction between the Malaysian Government and the citizens of Malaysia. what is B2B, B2G, C2C

B2B (Business-to-Business)
Companies doing business with each other such as manufacturers selling to distributors and wholesalers selling to retailers. Pricing is based on quantity of order and is often negotiable.

B2C (Business-to-Consumer)
Businesses selling to the general public typically through catalogs utilizing shopping cart software. By dollar volume, B2B takes the prize, however B2C is really what the average Joe has in mind with regards to ecommerce as a whole.

C2C (Consumer-to-Consumer)

Today, my lecturer explains the smart organization which is the electronic government in Malaysia. It has government to government, government to citizen and government to business. Next, she explains the internet communication nowadays. She briefly to indicates the internet communication which is constant messaging (msn), VOIP, web blog, podcast (video blog), email, and so on. Finally, she asks us to identify the meaning of ‘MyEG Portal’ and “Rilek Portal” also the meaning of “B2B” B2C” and “C2C”. Then,we only post to our blog.

Today, my lecturer explains input devices and output devices. Actually I understood that input devices can define as a convert data and instructions into electronic form for input into the computer. In other words, it means delivery data into computer. For instance, scanner, keyboard, mouse and so on. In contrast, output devices can dispart in hardcopy and softcopy. I realize that output device is convert electronic data produced by the computer system and display them into a form that people can understand such as printer (hardcopy), storage devices, outputting sound, monitor (CRT/ LCD) and so on. In the end, she explains the way how to reduce the injury or discomfort while using the computer. For example, take breaks frequently and use adjustable chair.
